Every Sunday morning, Grace Church wants families to be blessed and children to be welcome. We want children to love learning about Jesus, His church and how to worship Him. Here are some ways your children can be involved:
Sunday School 10:30-11:00 (ages 3-12). This is a relaxed time to allow your child to get a donut or drink and join children their age in a classroom upstairs. Their teachers will help prepare their minds for worship – reminding them why they have come to church. A short lesson will be taught, but fellowship and preparation for church is the focus.
Infant and Toddler Nursery is offered the entire service beginning at 10:45 for children 6 weeks-3 years old. Toddler
Sunday school is a special story time in the nursery for children 18 months-3 years old.
Children's church is offered during the sermon for children ages 4-9. The focus of CC is what we call “worship training.” The students will work through a worship bulletin made up of icons and easy words. They will participate with an order of worship, including things like: God Calls us to Worship, We Give Our Offering to God, We Talk to God in Prayer and We hear Gods Word. Hearing God’s Word will be from to the Jesus Storybook Bible. During the 2009-2010 school year, the children will learn this bible from cover to cover in chronological order.
‘Shout-Out’ Sunday is the first Sunday of every month. In place of Sunday school, the children will have a chance to learn fun and interactive songs. They will ‘shout out’ their praises to God with children ages 3-12! Children younger than 3 are welcome to come with a parent.
RYM is coming up for our high school students June 14th-19th and they have to raise $355 each to go! Please consider helping them with this by using them for Babysitting and Yardwork! If you need either a babysitter or work done in your yard, please don't hesitate to call Libby at (314)591-7553. There are many students wanting to work to raise money and are ready to work! Thank you for your help!

Maundy Thursday Special Service – Thursday, April 1st, at 7:00pm. There will be special readings. If you are interested in reading during this service please email Michelle at admin@gracefc.net.What is Maundy Thursday? On Maundy Thursday the church remembers the last evening Jesus shared with his disciples in the upper room before his arrest and crucifixion. Maundy Thursday marks three key events in Jesus’ last week: his washing of his disciples’ feet, his institution of the Lord’s Supper, and his new commandment to love one another. This service begins the Triduum, the three-day period from sunset on Thursday to sunset on Easter Day. The name “Maundy Thursday” comes from the Latin mandatum novum, referring to the “new commandment” Jesus taught his disciples (John 13:34).
